YO Proteins AB was founded in 2008 by Dr. Aleksei Rozkov at Karolinska Institutet Science Park.

Dr. Aleksei Rozkov currently serves as Board Chairman and CEO. He earned his PhD in Biotechnology at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and previously worked in AstraZeneca and University of Surrey, UK.
