Specificity

Binds native 3D epitopes of Human Collagen type I. Cross-reactivity with human collagen type III and IV below 5%. No cross-reactivity to human plasma proteins

Affinity purification on immobilized collagen type I with cross-absorption to immobilised human blood plasma proteins and human collagen type III, IV and V. Overall process is designed to obtain a high purity type-specific antibody to native 3D collagen.
