Monoclonal mouse antibody anti-taq polymerase 100 mg
Monoclonal antibody anti-taq DNA polymerase from Thermus aquaticus. The primary use of anti-Taq antibody is in "hot start" PCR. The antibody binds to Taq polymerase, inhibiting its activity at room temperature. When the PCR reaction is heated to denaturation temperatures (typically 94–98°C), the antibody denatures, releasing the Taq polymerase and allowing it to begin amplification. This reduces non-specific amplification that can occur at lower temperatures.
