Mouse monoclonal antibody against the human integrin aIIbß3 complex (platelet GPIIb/IIIa; CD41 / CD61 — the platelet fibrinogen receptor), clone CRC64, 0.2 mg. Complex-specific — recognises the intact aIIbß3 heterodimer but NOT the dissociated subunits. For platelet-function studies, flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Complements the platelet-surface markers cat. 136 (CD31) and cat. 192 (CD36).

APPLICATIONS
- Flow cytometry — platelet aIIbß3 (CD41 / CD61) surface detection.
- ELISA — aIIbß3 complex detection.
- Western blot — GPIIb/IIIa detection; the epitope is complex-dependent, so non-dissociating conditions are preferred.
- Immunohistochemistry — platelet and megakaryocyte identification in tissue.
APPLICATION HIGHLIGHTS — HIGH-VALUE RESEARCH NICHES
- Platelet biology and thrombosis — the aIIbß3 fibrinogen receptor.
- Glanzmann thrombasthenia research — aIIbß3 deficiency and dysfunction.
- Antiplatelet (GPIIb/IIIa inhibitor) pharmacology.
- Megakaryocyte and platelet-lineage identification.
