Mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human Apolipoprotein B (APOB, ApoB-100 — the structural protein of LDL), clone 4C11, 0.5 mg. Epitope-mapped to the T3 (middle) peptide of ApoB-100 — recognises ApoB on intact LDL / VLDL / IDL particles. The epitope-distinct partner to cat. 387 (clone 5F8) for two-mAb ApoB sandwich ELISA (with cat. 650 human ApoB-100 antigen as the standard) and the capture antibody for immuno-affinity extraction of ApoB-containing lipoproteins. For ELISA, IHC / IF, Western blot and lipoprotein extraction.

STORAGE / RECONSTITUTION
Reconstitute with sterile pure water per the supplied protocol. Ships at ambient temperature. Store lyophilised antibody 2 years at -20 °C or lower; store reconstituted antibody at +4 °C up to 4 weeks, or aliquot and freeze at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
APPLICATIONS
- ELISA — detection / capture of human ApoB (LDL) in plasma or serum (dilution 1:1 000); the natural sandwich uses cat. 387 (clone 5F8, epitope-distinct) with cat. 650 (human ApoB-100 antigen) as the standard.
- Immuno-affinity extraction — couple to CNBr-Sepharose or Protein G beads for selective extraction of intact ApoB-containing lipoproteins (LDL / VLDL / IDL) from human plasma; elute under mild conditions.
- IHC / IF — starting dilution 1:100; ApoB-positive lipoprotein deposits in atherosclerotic plaque and hepatic tissue.
- Western blot — 1:1 000; detects intact ApoB-100 at ~515 kDa under reducing conditions.
