STORAGE / RECONSTITUTION
Reconstitute with 1 mL sterile pure water. Ships at ambient temperature. Store lyophilised antibody 2 years at -20 °C or lower; store reconstituted antibody at +4 °C up to 4 weeks, or aliquot and freeze at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
APPLICATIONS
- IHC (FFPE) — HIER, citrate pH 6.0; 1:50 to 1:200. Atherosclerotic-plaque ApoE deposition and Alzheimer’s-disease amyloid plaques.
- IHC (frozen sections) — 1:100 to 1:400; no antigen retrieval typically required.
- IF — 1:50 to 1:200; co-localisation studies with amyloid-ß and ApoJ / clusterin.
- Western blot — 1:500 to 1:2 000; detects the 34 kDa ApoE monomer (may also run as a dimer).
