Rabbit affinity-purified polyclonal antibody that recognises both rat collagen type I and type III, 1 mL. A single pan-fibrillar reagent for total interstitial (type I + III) collagen — the one-antibody readout that complements the type-specific pair cat. 376 (rabbit anti-rat collagen I) and cat. 864 (rabbit anti-rat collagen III). Optimised for native-conformation work: rat total-collagen sandwich ELISA, frozen-section histochemistry, and immunostaining of fibrillar-collagen ECM in cell culture.

STORAGE / RECONSTITUTION
Reconstitute with 1 mL sterile pure water. Ships at ambient temperature. Store lyophilised antibody 2 years at -20 °C or lower. After reconstitution, aliquot and store frozen; avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
APPLICATIONS
- ELISA — detection of rat collagen type I + III by sandwich ELISA (dilution x3000).
- IHC / histochemistry (frozen sections) — total fibrillar-collagen histochemistry (dilution x20).
- Immunocytochemistry / ECM staining — immunostaining of type I + III collagen ECM in cell culture.
- Type-specific alternative — for type-I-only or type-III-only readouts use the cross-absorbed cat. 376 (collagen I) or cat. 864 (collagen III).
- Note: native-conformation antibody — not suitable for denatured Western blot, FFPE (HIER), or other dissociating conditions.
